I’m a mailman with extremely flat feet. After going through 3 pairs of custom orthotics from doctor’s offices - to the tune of $500 EACH - none of which ever truly felt comfortable, I needed to find a better solution.
My wife had tried Bilt Labs and was over the dang moon about her orthotics. I tried their 2-pair deal and got the exact same custom food casting mold I’d used in the doctor’s office. That’s when I realized, the doctor’s, tho good at their jobs, were just middlemen when it came to the orthotics.
I cut out the middlemen and got a quicker turnaround time and orthotics that actually feel good on my feet! The attached photo is just a little longer than 6 months into wearing them and taken after 10 hours of trudging through snow & ice delivering mail and heavy packages. They still look in great shape (the front big toe area of the right insole is starting to peel just a tiny bit but I’m honestly surprised this hasn’t happened sooner, with how much abuse these things go through).

I have become a huge fan of Bilt insoles. I must have bought and tossed out at least a dozen off-the-shelf products and some felt fine at first but then after a longer hike, pain would develop, usually along the outside edge of one foot. I then went to a podiatrist and spent tons of money on orthotics which helped but were expensive and made me feel like i was walking on a tennis ball. Then i found Bilt. I can walk forever now and have no pain. There are times after a long hike that I come home and leave my shoes on because they feel like my feet are getting a hug with each step, truly. Perfectly molded for each foot's needs rather than trying to use a standard. I doubt many people's feet are "standard." So I will be placing an order for my 3rd pair since my second pair arrived recently and the test proved to me that they are as good/same as my first pair. This from a 74-year-old who hikes 7+ mile hikes two or three times a week and recently completed my second Camino de Santiago in Spain, using these insoles. Huge fan.
I’ve got insoles from my podiatrist and they were great. Love my doctor but I didn’t have to go back and get new ones. Bilt Labs does the same procedure my doctor did for half the cost and it all comes to my house. This will be my second pair and love them.

The insoles were delivered as per schedule. They fit perfectly, are finished with an eye for comfort and have helpers me relief pain, within weeks of using them. You do need to allow for a few days of getting used to them in whichever show you decide to install them.

Awesome pair of orthotic insoles
I was searching for insoles for my feet for several years. I tried all of the over the counter, less expensive ones. I must have bought 50 different pairs. Nothing helped my feet. I finally got a job that offered FSA benefits, and I was browsing online for places that accepted FSA. Bilt came up and I thought to myself that it couldn't hurt to try them out, since all the others ended up in failure and a ton of foot pain. Yes, they are expensive. Buy multiples. All of your shoes need these. Seriously. Don't try to be that guy who moves his insoles from shoe to shoe. It's not worth it. Just buy more. I ordered 2 everyday and 2 active, the first time. That got me through the first year. That was last year. This year, I got new shoes, and needed new insoles again, since you really don't want to use insoles for longer than a year, anyway. So in January, again, I ordered two more pairs of active insoles.
I work in a demanding job, on my feet and moving, for 13 hours a day. Out of 14 days, I work 10 days. So I'm tough on my shoes and I need insoles that can handle that. The active insoles live up to their expectations and then some.
The foam kit to make the insoles is a little weird to use, but it's honestly worth every icky feeling to get insoles that are this great.
And just in case you care, I'm now ordering my third set, since I broke my newer shoes and need more active insoles. I'm a customer for life - and I can be, since they keep the mold for future use.

Seem to fit well. However, I am already noticing some separation in the adhesive layers. I haven't had these very long.
These insoles have helped my pain so.much. I have a bump that was developing on my Achilles and it would hurt so bad during the day I would be limping about halfway through. With these my feet have found comfort that lasts.
I tried different inserts from different vendors, but not custom. My doctor recommended custom inserts that would have costed $700. Then I found Bilt labs on a google search and the reviews were great. All for less than half of what the doctor recommended. Let me tell you, they work. It’s been about 3 months and I’m already ordering a second pair. The process was well described and everything happened as planned. My plantar fasciitis was acute. It took about 4 weeks for the pain to go away and about 8 weeks to feel less tight. No more pain first thing in the morning. But you have to keep wearing the inserts. In the house I wear something with support, like Cushionaire, and outside sneakers with the Bilt labs inserts.
Just received my second order, because I was so happy with my first pair.. My podiatrist was impressed also. Excellent value and they have really made a big difference in my ability to walk with little to no pain due to fallen arch, neuroma and bunion. thanks!

I am very pleased with my orthotics. They sent a mold and customized them for me after I submitted some information. The price is better than at other places I have checked and they are custom made. It took awhile to receive them, but it was worth it. I didn’t even have to leave my house for an appointment.
