Targeted Correction

Our orthotic technology is specifically engineered to address the mechanical faults that lead to common foot pathologies:

  • Plantar Fasciitis: Reduces tension on the plantar fascia band by supporting the arch and cushioning the heel.
  • Over-Pronation (Flat Feet): Prevents the arch from collapsing inward, reducing strain on the ankle and inner knee.
  • Supination (High Arches): Improved shock absorption and lateral stability for rigid feet.
  • Metatarsalgia & Heel Spurs: Evenly redistributes body weight away from high-pressure points to allow inflammation to heal.

Plantar Fasciitis Orthotics:

Ultimate Plantar Fasciitis Relief: Our therapeutic, custom orthotics are precision-engineered to stop chronic heel pain at the source. These are not simply generic insoles for Plantar Fasciitis; each device is custom-made from a precise mold of your feet to address the specific biomechanical faults contributing to your pain, and come with a Bilt Labs warranty and guarantee.

Precision Correction

The key to long-term relief lies in controlling excessive foot motion. Our semi-rigid design stabilizes the arch and controls overpronation—the primary cause of fascia strain. By correcting this underlying instability and absorbing impact forces, our custom orthotics drastically reduce tension on the inflamed plantar fascia ligament, promoting the optimal environment for healing.

Unparalleled Performance

Built from your unique foot mold and detailed health information, we guarantee a truly precise fit that mass-produced supports cannot match. Choosing Bilt Labs is choosing a durable, evidence-based therapy that offers reliable support and improves gait alignment for long-term comfort and mobility.

Understanding The Condition

What is Plantar Fasciitis?

The Pathomechanics of Heel Pain

Plantar Fasciitis is the inflammation of the thick band of tissue (the plantar fascia) connecting your heel bone to your toes. While often called an overuse injury, the root cause is frequently biomechanical misalignment.

When you overpronate (arch collapse), it creates a "tugging" effect on the fascia, straining it under load. This repeated stretching causes micro-tears at the heel insertion, leading to chronic pain and inflammation.

Common Symptoms:

  • Stabbing heel pain with the first steps in the morning.
  • Pain that triggers after long periods of standing or rising from sitting.
  • Tenderness at the bottom of the heel bone.
  • Pain that subsides during activity but returns shortly after.

Fast Facts

  • Prevalence: Affects 1 in 10 people at some point in their life.
  • Risk: Flat feet and high arches both increase risk significantly.
  • Correction: 90% of cases resolve with conservative treatment like orthotics.

Why Orthotics Are The Primary Treatment

The goal of treatment is to Reduce Tension.

Custom orthotics address this by physically supporting the arch. By correcting the collapse (pronation), the orthotic prevents the fascia from over-stretching with every step, allowing the inflamed tissue to rest and heal naturally.

Treating the Root Cause of Pain

The Problem

Why Generic Insoles Fail

Drugstore gels and foams are designed to compress. They cushion the impact but fail to stop the arch collapse that rips your plantar fascia.

Result: Temporary comfort, but the injury continues to worsen.
The Bilt Solution

Medical-Grade Correction

Bilt Labs custom orthotics provide a firm, structural foundation that holds your arch in its optimal position, allowing the fascia to heal.

"Plantar Fasciitis is a biomechanical failure. You cannot cushion it away. You must correct the arch height to stop the micro-tearing. Bilt Labs delivers the exact structural correction I use in my clinic."

Frequently Asked Questions

Plantar Fasciitis Relief

Do custom insoles help plantar fasciitis?
Yes. Plantar Fasciitis is typically caused by biomechanical issues like over-pronation (arch collapse) which stretches the plantar fascia ligament. Custom insoles like Bilt Labs are molded to your unique feet to support the arch and stabilize the heel, manually lifting the strain off the fascia so the inflammation can heal naturally.
How much do custom orthotics cost for plantar fasciitis?
At a podiatrist's office, custom orthotics typically cost between $400 and $800 per pair, often not covered by insurance. Bilt Labs provides the exact same medical-grade custom orthotics directly to you for $249, saving you approximately 50% by eliminating the office visit fees.
What insole is best for plantar fasciitis?
The best insole for plantar fasciitis is one that offers firm structural support rather than just soft cushioning. Soft "drugstore" gels may feel nice initially but do not prevent the arch collapse that causes the pain. A custom-molded orthotic that provides a deep heel cup and firm arch support is the clinical gold standard for long-term relief.

Product & Service

How long does it take to receive my custom orthotics?
Once you place your order, we ship out your foot mold impression kit within 1-2 business days. After we receive your molds back at our lab, we design, build, and ship your custom orthotics within 21 business days.
Are these truly custom, medical-grade orthotics?
Yes. These are not "heat-moldable" or "shelf" insoles. They are custom-fabricated from a physical mold of your foot using the same medical-grade polymers and EVA foams we supply to podiatry clinics. Nothing is pre-made or off-the-shelf.
Do you take insurance or FSA/HSA?
We are approved and set up to accept insurance FSA/HSA cards directly at checkout. We can also send a detailed invoice for reimbursement. However, we do not bill insurance companies directly as that typically requires an in-person office visit.
How long will my custom orthotics last?
Bilt Labs custom orthotics typically last a minimum of 2-3 years. The orthotic shell itself often lasts longer (and has a lifetime warranty against breaking), but the top covers may show wear and can be refurbished.
What is your return/refund policy?
We offer a full 6-month trial period. If you are not fully happy with your orthotics by that time, you can return them for a full refund. We also offer 2 free adjustments during this period to ensure the fit is perfect.
Where are my orthotics made?
Your new custom orthotics are made in the United States. We are located in the Houston, Texas area. All fabrications, designs, and finishing are performed by experts right here in our Houston lab.
What is your warranty/guarantee policy?
Your orthotics include a Lifetime Warranty on the plastic orthotic shell against breaking or cracking. This does not include the top cover material, as that is a consumable item that naturally wears with use.
