Best inserts I’ve had in a long time!

I used to have inserts made years ago and where I was having them done no longer did them. I stumbled across bilt labs and gave them a try. They are the best ones I’ve ever had. No more foot or knee pain. I just ordered a second pair! I now tell everyone about Bilts custom orthotics !

Fixed My Issue

After having foot issues with plantar fasciitis and then achilles tendon. I am also a type I I diabetic. I was wearing a boot for over a year per the foot doctor request. The Doctor wanted me to continue to wear the boot again. I just took matters into my own hands. I did a lot of research. I did stretching exercises. I used swimming shoes to walk around. That actually helped a lot. I also had knee issues before my foot issues. I turned to Biltlabs. The orthotics worked great. I stopped having pain on my foot, knees, and lower back. I purchased both 3 newer sets for my different types of shoes. Try a set see if it helps you like it helped me. Stay healthy!

OMG!

I began feeling the results immediately! I have been suffering for years with outdated orthotics. Once I slipped the new ones in to my shoes, I can feel my legs adjusting to the new pressure points.

Don't wait if you are in doubt. These folks are very precise and professional with their service and products. Don't put it off!

comfortable and durable

The comfort due to good accuracy for measurement and durability is as good or better that past custom made orthotics from a Podiatrist. --Thanks so much

Happy feet

The insoles are professionally crafted and, because they were MADE for my feet, did not need time to break them in. I had a little sizing issue (I'm a 1/2 size), but Lauren quickly returned my call and helped me make things right. Highly recommend!

Frequently Asked Questions.

How long does it take to receive my recovered/refurbished orthotics?

Once an order is placed, we email you a prepaid return label to send us your orthotics that need a new top cover. Once we receive them here at the lab, we will recover/refurbish your orthotics and have them shipped out to you within 7-10 business days.

How long will my custom orthotics last?

Bilt Labs custom orthotics typically last a minimum of 2-3 years.  The orthotics themselves (plastic base) can and do last longer in most cases, however, most specialists recommend a remold after this timeframe as our feet continually change.

Unfortunately, there's no one-size-fits-all answer to how long top cover material on custom orthotics should last. It depends on a variety of factors, including:

  • User activity level: High-impact activities like running and jumping will inevitably wear down the top covers faster than low-impact activities like walking or casual everyday use.
  • Material quality: Different materials have different lifespans. Some higher-quality, more durable materials, like leather or certain types of foams, might last longer than simpler fabrics.
  • Footwear compatibility: Certain shoes can rub against the top covers more than others, accelerating wear.
  • Individual factors: Everyone's feet are different, and individual sweat and body chemistry can also contribute to material breakdown.

However, as a general guideline:

  • For moderately active users: Top covers could last anywhere from 6 months to a year.
  • For highly active users: You might need to replace them every 3-6 months.
  • For low-impact use: Your top covers could last up to 1-2 years.

Remember: Even within these ranges, it's important to pay attention to your own orthotics. Look for signs of wear and tear such as thinning, ripping, or excessive pilling. If the top covers are no longer providing enough cushion or comfort, it's time to replace them.

Do you take insurance or FSA/HSA?

We are approved and set up to accept insurance FSA/HSA cards. We can also send a detailed invoice that may be used for reimbursement for those with HSA/FSA accounts.

However, most insurance companies do not cover custom-made orthotics. If they do, they must be prescribed by a physician seen in person. Due to this, we do not currently work with any insurance companies.

Why should I recover my orthotics?

Custom orthotics endure regular wear and tear and will require some regular maintenance, especially for those who exert heavy use on their orthotics.

Orthotic inserts generally have a hard shell base. The hard shell base is what provides support to your feet. Over that base is the padding or top covers which provide comfort for your feet.

The top covers are important to the complete comfort of the orthotic insert. Once the top covers wear out, your inserts might not feel as comfortable as when they were new.

You can simply replace the top covers. Recover the existing shell, and your inserts will feel back to new!
