Are Birkenstocks good or bad for your feet?

    I've been seeing Birkenstocks everywhere lately, and I know they're super comfy for walking around, but I've also heard some conflicting stuff.

    My question is: Are the cork footbeds actually good for everyday wear & do they actually provide arch support ( I have flat feet) or are they just comfortable? Trying to decide if I should invest in a pair or stick to something else!
